Freddie Booysen is a professional coach (life coach), (a senior officer in the South African Police Service), a policy analyst and a training and development consultant. He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Stellenbosch. He was awarded the National Diploma in Police Administration from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and the Advance Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Stellenbosch. He also completed a Bachelors of Ministry (B Min) from the Christian Family Church International (CFCI) Johannesburg Bible College as well as a Diploma in Professional Coaching from Coach Companion South Africa.
He is a SARU accredited player agent and is currently studying towards a Doctor of Philosophy (D. Phil) in Business Leadership and Management at Global Centre for Academic Research (G-CAR), South Valley University (SVU), Lusaka, Zambia.
He is a senior officer in the South African Police Service and holds the rank of Colonel. As a middle manager he is the Section Commander: Rapid Response Services at the National Head Office: Division Visible Policing responsible for the 10111 Command Centres and Flying Squads. He has specialist knowledge of 10111 Command Centres and Flying Squad Units and is instrumental in the policy development for the mentioned emergency environments. As a project manager, Colonel Booysen, has overseen and coordinated various training and performance management projects within the emergency call centre environment.
He has many years' experience as a mentor, coach, researcher, trainer and facilitator. He was a lecturer at CFCI @The Vaal Bible College in Vanderbijlpark where he taught: Biblical Principles of Marriage, Be a People Person, Practical Leadership, Leadership Principles, The Ministry of Jesus and Developing Godly Character.
He was a member of the National Project Management Team for the Incident management Systems (IMS) Project who successfully registered the National Certificate in Incident Management NQF Level 5 qualification with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
